Yeah there making a profit. The 360 only costs around fifty quid to make. Unfortuantly you can tell as its always breaking down.
End of year that 7 percent down will easily dissapear. Sony on the other hand need to sell a few more.
I thought the multi format games were always inferior on the PS3?
Im pretty sure Ensemble was shut only for the majority of staff to start a new development studio under Microsoft.
Microsoft are making a profit on the 360 yet Sony appear to be bleeding money on the PS3... i know who i would say is doing better.
They disbanded esemble to to start another software development team. Happens all the time.
Why is at the end of every year we get ' next year the Ps3 will blow the 360 away' and every year it never happens and the sony hyped games sell like crap. Next year will be same as always.

Am i the only one who thinks it looks good but isnt blown away. Yeah its a nice looking game but i wouldn't go so far as to say 'Wow thats just mindblowing best thing ever' like lots of people are saying.
Everyone seems to creaming over the fact that the textures don't blur close up, what like most games these days? Hell even Halo3 ( which i think is lacking in a lot of graphical areas) has solid texture work.

Killzone and heavy rain yeah but God of war3 not a chance, it looks average at best. Gran turismo..nah because prologue had taken away the wow factor and MAG will do doubt be meh.
I liked the previous God of war games but to say this will end the console wars is crazy. GOW isnt a system seller the previous ones only sold a few million on a huge install base and this hardly screams next gen judging by the trailer. To be honest it doesn't look nowhere near what i expected. Saying that the trailer was short and its gameplay that matters to which im sure it will deliver.
Like i said im looking forward to it though.. need to see more.
True although in the next week Xbox will surpass Sonys Ps3 sales as the gap is very small now.
Saying that these stories are getting out of hand. The ps3 is selling well, not as well as expected for a playstation but still good figures. The 360 will probably outsell them buy a million or so years end but thats not a lot. The numbers are very close, so close in fact that there pretty even. To say the Ps3 is doomed you might as well say the same for the 360. Both are doing well.
I really hope blue ray becomes the number one format. The picture and sound not to mention the space is great. It some ways its a shame the 360 wasn't blue ray as a lot of games being muti format don't make much use of it. Hopefully next gen it will be the standard drive and also by then it will be a lot cheaper.
Take my advice get a player, you won't regret it.
Got mine on blue. I don't really get how this is news worthy though as 21 percent is pretty low for the biggest release of the year.
I really hope Killzone is going to be good but im not to impressed with it so far. The graphics look nice but the gameplay looks very COD4 and the a.i and actual gameplay in that was very limited once you played it on the harder settings. Its then you start to realise that its all looks with nothing underneath.
Hopefully Killzone will suprise me though.
GTP was awful. Rubbish online, rubbish physics. Im hoping the full game will be better though.

360 outsells the PS3 this year again and outsells in on software. Next year will be the same.
Gears is still the best looking game ever and the Ps3 really couldn't cope with it. The Ps3's small 256mb ram just isn't up to the job.
The graphics are Killzone look nice but we all know all the power has been put into the graphics and the A.I and gameplay suck.
Looks like 09 will be year of the 360 just as 08 was.

Halo3 sold more copies in a few days than any ps3 game has done in its lifetime ha ha. Its also the benchmark for the complete fps package. I know your upset you can't play it and have to make do with over hyped games that never deliver and a console that is dropping off the radar but maybe father Christmas might be nice to you this year.
I know its hard your console of choice being in last place and not having the big games but well, lifes hard.
